It was almost late September now, and the air was starting to get that extra bite to it. Mornings felt colder, afternoons weren’t as warm anymore, and I found myself looking forward to the winters.
The leaves hadn’t fully changed yet, but you could smell that faint earthy scent in the air, the one that told you autumn was already here, whether you were ready for it or not.
